I never had the urge to write blogs prior to this because I felt that I was constantly on the move and wanted to experience so many different aspects of my life that I realised that one day, I would want to be able to document them before my memory fails me or fades away. That would be a tragedy.
So where do I begin? I don't know. Maybe I'll ask you, the reader, where you'd like me to begin but I will share my work experiences throughout an almost 3 decades of different career paths that I never thought I would imagine to have.
I've worn many hats and I continue to push my own boundaries at the ripe age of 50 (closer to 51 now as of this article) and I still feel that there is so much to accomplish in my life. To say that luck played a part of what I've done would be unfair. It is pure hard work, hustling, promoting, learning and above all, going through many processes in order to achieve those goals.
There have been ups and many downs and there are still pitfalls even as I continue to survive in an ever changing environment in this industry.
I keep learning and I guess I've never been afraid to fail. Don't get me wrong. I have a fear of failure but I know if I do fail, I will dust myself off, learn from it and pick myself up again.
I am rambling on but there is a point to all of this. One day I will know why. Maybe it is good for me to finally talk about what you need to know if you had any ambitions to go into this industry.
